Zarzuela's Voices
Zarzuela USA is inviting students and professionals from the USA and around the world to submit videos that show their musical talent (in Zarzuela romanza, or a classical excerpt for one minute and a half). Selected submissions will participate in workshops which will be provided by Maestros from “Zarzuela por El Mundo”, led by our most influential voice, mezzo-soprano Maestro Nancy Fabiola Herrera.
The deadline to submit the video and release form is March 1, 2023. Sixteen participants will be selected.

WORKSHOPS: will take place from June 18-23 and a Gala on June 24, 2023.

Besides the workshops, the selected participants will join the Closing Gala Performance with three well know international singers.

*For participants who are residents in the United States, Zarzuela USA covers all expenses.
*For international participants, Zarzuela USA will cover meals and lodging. They are responsible for the payment of the airfare and must have a visa.
*Experience in Zarzuela or speaking Spanish is not required.
